Story of Invention
Problem
In 2022, I received an unwanted birthday present: COVID-19. Due to my large tonsils, I had to endure such terrible pain that I could not even swallow my saliva, let alone drink water, due to my inflamed and swollen throat.
Not being able to drink water was an inconvenience I had never experienced before. There were various discomforts such as dizziness and indigestion, and the pain caused by thirst was especially significant.
Solution
I discovered that many people use a 'nebulizer', a medical device used to treat respiratory diseases, to relieve this pain and manage their throat health, and by using this device, the pain finally became bearable.
Crisis
A few days later, I realized that I had run out of saline water for the nebulizer, but due to quarantine I couldn't go and buy more. I had no choice but to use the filtered water I had at home with a bit of ionic beverage. Ionic beverages contain purified water and refined salt as well as various other substances, so they should never be used in nebulizers.
The Eureka
Well surprise! Never say never.
The mist created by the nebulizer was beyond imagination. This refreshing, sweet ionic beverage mist not only replenished the moisture in my throat, but it was also fragrant and refreshing enough to even restore my appetite.
The Invention
After researching this effect, I discovered that there are many people like me in the world who have difficulty hydrating through water and consequently suffer from respiratory health problems.
And based on this experience, we developed BLIZ, a portable hydrator that allows anyone to easily hydrate anytime, anywhere.
